As well as the increased performance, the riding experience is considerably improved too. Slimmer ergonomics and a handlebar bend created specifically for younger racers inspires confidence and makes laps at the track so much more enjoyable. The end result of all the changes is a bike that delivers incredible performance and rideability for such a small motorcycle. Styled just like our full-size motocross bikes, the MC 85 features bold red graphics applied using a durable in-mould process. The bodywork is enhanced with GASGAS-specific textures, including a gripper seat cover designed for maximum control whether seated or standing. It's a look that lasts and a feel that supports confident riding.
Engineered for young racers, the MC 85 frame is built from high-strength steel and inspired by our full-size motocross bikes. Its geometry delivers straight-line stability and sharp cornering, with a flatter steering head angle and wider turning radius for precise handling. The rear shock mount design absorbs big hits with ease, while red frame protectors with a textured surface add grip and protect the glossy Electronic Red finish.
The MC 85 motor is built to deliver serious performance. With a strong low- and mid-range punch and proven top-end power, it gives young riders everything they need to push hard and have fun. The engine layout helps centralize mass and improve balance, while a controlled exhaust valve and 6-speed transmission keep the power flowing smoothly. Lightweight and responsive, it's made for getting on the gas and going fast.
