THE BIKE FOR YOUR RACING AMBITION RS 660 Trofeo is the ideal model for those who want to enjoy an increasingly ambitious riding experience. We’re talking about a bike with a potential greater than SuperSport 300s, capable of achieving lap times close to the all-powerful SuperSport 600 racers. With such prowess, product quality and outstanding performance, this unique and special bike has Aprilia Racing expertise written all over it.
The bike is available with a full electric/electronic system, but no ignition key is installed, and ABS functionality is fully disabled.
The front and rear brake systems are simplified, and independent braking pipes are used. ABS ECU is still present in the racing spec bike, connected with the main ECU, allowing the available electronic strategies to work properly.
The main ECU has been reprogrammed for racing usage and the electronic strategies have been developed by Aprilia Racing for this specific racing version of RS660. Engine mapping has been optimized for its racing exhaust to maximize power delivery. Electronic strategies, Wheelie Control, Engine Breaking, and Traction Control are specific for racing usage and can be tuned on different levels.
Electronic gearbox assistance in Upshift only is available. No assistance in downshift is provided. TFT color Dashboard is installed, and immobilizer functionality is disabled. The left-hand side switch panel has been developed to help the riders to apply changes to the vehicle configuration in racing conditions.
The suspension is set up with standard forks with kit cartridge Misano by Andreani. New compression and rebound damping setting and spring preload. Rear shock absorber with hydraulic brake adjustment and spring preload adjustment.
The chassis has a lowered riding position. Racing triple clamp with racing adjustable handlebar, adjustable footrest kit, and fiberglass fairing.
Engine modifications are as followed: No water thermostat, simplified water tubes kit. Right and left sides protection is covered by aluminum.
